WannaCry helps speeding drivers dodge fines in Australia!

Hackers behind the infamous WannaCry virus have helped a lot of Autolan people see to avoid high fines.

55 traffic cameras, most in Melbourne, were infected by the ransomware that shook the world.

A maintenance worker had loaded the virus without his knowledge on the camera network using a USB key on June 6th.

Police then canceled 590 high-speed fines and non-observance of traffic lights.

"We canceled the fines because it is important for the public to have 100% confidence in the system," Regional Police Director Victoria Ross Guenther said.

Police discovered the virus last week after the cameras flickered and sparked unusually. The virus infected 150 states during May.
Among the affected were the British Health Service, FedEx and Russia's interior ministry.
