Last night, the annual American Music Awards were celebrated in Los Angeles.
The Award show was spiked with musical performances, jokes about the new president Trump and of course - the nominees and winners.
Hosts of the night were model Gigi Hadid and comedian Jay Pharoah.
Drake won 4 prices during the course of the evening, and he was there personally to receive them as well (usually Drake doesn't show up to mny award shows). Among others, he won the price for best hip hop / R&B artist.
He had been nominated 13 times, breaking Michael Jackson's record of 11 nominations.
Fellow Canadian Justin Bieber also won 4 of the award trophies, and Rihanna took home 3.
The most important award of the night, "Artist of the year" went to Ariana Grande.
Prince, who had died earlier this year, won an honorary award for "Best Soundtrack" for his song purple rain. The award was received by his sister.
