Mogadishu, Somalia - Residents of Mogadishu, Somalia will soon have a water well (waterwell). Currently, a well that is able to meet the water needs for 200 families head is being made.
"This water well is a donation from donors who are entrusted through DT Peduli. We will make some wells in Somalia, "said Dadan Junaedi, Program Director of DT Peduli.
As we know, some countries in Africa are hit by drought. Food crisis and hunger also threaten every soul.
In addition to making water wells, in April and May 2017 DT Peduli has provided clean water aid to Somalis. A total of 10 clean water tanks with a capacity of 15,000 liters of tank has been felt for the benefit of the residents there.
DT Peduli has also distributed 500 food packages to mothers in Camp Kalkaal, Garisbale District, Mogadishu, Somalia. The food package consists of 10 kg of rice, 25 kg of wheat, 25 kg of sugar, and 3 liters of cooking oil.
We are well aware that this aid has not been able to touch all areas of Somalia. But we are sure, no matter how small the aid will be very beneficial to them.
