Considering Tesla is actually producing a physical, technologically advanced product, on a massive scale. The investment is relatively low. Look how much Uber and its rivals are spending on an idea, and remember, Uber and its ilk are using the the physical assets and hence capital investments of its underpaid drivers.

The Tesla project is an ambitious one, and there will be many difficulties, but I am confident it will succeed. I note for example that PepsiCo just preordered 100 trucks.
