Cyclone Drops Bull-Shark on Aussie Street - Sharknado is Real !

In Australia we often get weather that isn't too friendly, floods, droughts and cyclones come in cyclical patterns and we adopt a somewhat pragmatic attitude towards it. Ok, it sucks but lets just get on with it...But! When it starts raining sharks, well now we got a problem !

In the last few days Cyclone Debbie has struck Australia in far nothern Queensland with devastating effects all the way down the Queensland coast. This is my home state, and although I'm not there now I still have many family and friends. So, I've been keeping track of the weather updates...and then SHARKNADO !!!! In the town of Ayr, after the winds had subsided and people were brave enough to stick their head outdoors again, what did they find?

They found a mud-covered bull shark in the middle of the road.

Bull sharks although they live in the ocean are very adaptable and are often found kilometres upstream in freshwater rivers. They are aggresive hunters and w]this causes problems when they interact with humans in locations where you wouldn't expect to find a shark...but in the middle of the road. I didn't see that coming.

So, just when you thought it was safe to walk down the street after the cyclone has subsided, keep a look out for sharks falling from the sky...
