Thousands of Village Level Election Organizer In Aceh Utara District Inaugurated

The Independent Election Commission (KIP) of North Aceh, inaugurated and took oath 2,556 members of the Polling Committee (PPS) which took place at the versatile PT.PIM building on Monday (12/3/2018).

The inauguration and taking of the oath takes place in two stages in the morning and evening.

Two thousand five hundred fifty-six (2,556) voting members (PPS) in 852 villages from 27 sub-districts in Aceh Utara District were sworn in and sworn by the chairman of North Aceh KIP, Jufri Sulaiman.

The event was attended by five North Aceh KIP commissioners, namely Jufri Sulaiman, M. Rizwan Haji Ali, Chairul Muhclis, Ayi Jufridar, Muhammad Sayuni, and secretary Hamdani, members of Panwaslu and other invited guests.

Due to the large number of PPS members inaugurated, the North Aceh KIP divides the two inauguration schedules, part is inaugurated in the morning and the other is inaugurated in the afternoon.

Chairman of North Aceh KIP, Jufri Sulaiman said, the process of acceptance of the election committee at the village level has been done in accordance with legislation, ranging from administrative selection, written tests and interviews.

In addition, Jufri Sulaiman also hopes that the election organizers to carry out their duties and obligations in accordance with legislation and can work well and help facilitate the community to use the right to vote so that the 2019 election will run in a democratic manner.
