27000 Yemenis died since Sana'a International Airport shut down 2 years ago

Spokesman of the Yemini Health Ministry, Yousef al-Haderi, said that up to 27000 Yemeni patients who had to get treatment abroad died since the closure of Sana'a International Airport two year ago.

"Currently, there are around 200,000 humanitarian cases of the patient and wounded people who desperately need to get treatment outside Yemen, but tragically hindered by the Saudi-led coalition by shutting down the airport", al-Haderi explained.

The spokesman added that 25-30 people die every day due to the deteriorating health condition caused by the closure of the airport.

The Saudi-led coalition has closed all land and seas accesses to Yemen more than two years ago, causing the world's worst humanitarian disaster.
