WOMEN THAT RENOVATE

After a day of doing what I do, I was thinking how far I have come in my 46 yrs and how much I have learnt in them years also. I always love to learn new thing's, but thinking of them thing I realised that I stand alone against all my friend's. Most of them leave it to the men/partners to do. So I thought I would write a blog about women that renovate and see if I can find like minded women. If this is you please share your story with what it is you have learnt and I would even love to see before and after pictures. I surprise a lot of people as I am a small framed lady and am not afraid of hard work. I have taken down stone walls and rebuilt them in my 150 year old home and taken every window and door off and stripped them to their former glory. I even learnt to plumb my new kitchen/bathroom/toilet I even did all the pipe work for all the outside tap's. These are just a few thing's that I have learnt. Today I will share some before and after of my old kitchen that became my my bathroom.

This is my old kitchen, getting it ready to pull apart and take out the old fire place to put in new/old window
The only thing left to do is to fit the bath and door trim's, which is what I was doing today so should have them up in the next few day's.

Not a pretty picture!
