Fairy tale story: Cinderella

One thing I love about my childhood days is that I got the opportunity to watch alot of fairy tale films, and I'm going to share with you one of my favorite.

Once upon a time, in a far away kingdom, the lived a girl named Cinderella she was a beautiful, kind-hearted girl, but her world turns upside down after the death of her beloved mother. Her father re-married a wicked woman. Her stepmother and stepsisters were so cruel to Cinderella, they treated her like a maid in her house.
One day, the king decided to organize a ball and he invited all the young maidens in the kingdom. Immediately, Cinderella’s sisters made her prepare them for the ball, but they never for once asked her if she would love to go with them.

The day for the ball finally came, while her stepmother and stepsisters where about to go, Cinderella came shouting Wait for me as she climbed down the stairs with a very beautiful dress, her stepsisters where jealous sontheu tore her dress and told her to stay at home. Once they left, her Fairy Godmother appeared and helped her go to the ball. with a little bit of magic that was to only last until midnight. At the ball, No one recognized Cinderella, but she caught the eye of the prince, as she was the most beautiful girl at the ball, and they both danced all night..

When midnight eventually came, Cinderella knew she had to leave the ball, and in her hurry to leave, one of her glass slippers fell off her feet. The prince found this slipper and he then vowed to marry any girl the slipper belonged to.

In search for that one girl, the prince went from house to house, looking for the girl whose foot fit the slipper perfectly, on reaching Cinderella’s house. her stepsisters and stepmother tried so hard to keep her from trying it on, but when she eventually did, the glass slipper was a perfect fit, and she got married to the prince and lived happily ever ever after.

Moral lesson
Humble attitude will always reap its rewards.
