Token holders of NEO blockchain have started receiving free ONT tokens to solidify the base of the latest blockchain/distributed ledger network, Ontology. Recently, users started receiving 10 million ONT tokens that according to the last record valued $42,100,000. Beneficiaries, who received the tokens have essentially been Neo users on March 1.Source
The announcement about the “free tokens” or “air drop” was done in February to eligible NEO token holders. The Ontology makers wrote in March that the makers of Ontology approved 100 million ONT, or 10 percent of the maximum supply, to the Neo Council "for relevant cooperation and to support NEO community feedback”.
