Hello everybody,
My second daughter gave me fuschia pink top, the other day, I really liked it very much especially the color but very plain for me, so I applied crochet accent with just simply stitches, chains, single crochet, slip stitch and double crochet. Here is the result:
AFTER...
Before...
It's good I still have fuschia pink mercerized cotton in my stash.
Actually I started crocheting yesterday but I stopped, my head ached. Then, when I walked up this morning, hmm my blood pressure a little high 150/99. Took my meds and just relaxed. Drank lots of water. Thankful, after lunch it was normal already, 123/85. So, I continued crocheting and video my work for YouTube upload. Sad, editing not yet done.
Anyways, the show must go on and must write this for #needleworkmonday.
I simply made the edging with chain one in between the slip stitch using 1.4mm hook. It easily made a hole to the cotton cloth.
At the corner, must be chain 2 in between so to avoid shrinking the cloth continued all around same with the sleeves. Then on tje 2nd row, just Chain 3 and single crochet into the previous chain one of row one. It should be with row 3 then scallop on the last row but I must relax my eyes so just until row two only. Simple and fast.
At the neck part, chain 2 in between. I made simple flower form. Chain six, then slip stitch to first chain made to form a ring. Chain three and add 15 double crochet, close by slip stitch and chain three, slip stitch to next double crochet then continue all around. Attached to the center of the gold accent and add the tassle.
Wallah! though simple, I have a new top.
Happy much with my creation. Endorphins oozing!
Thanks for dropping by...
