Lantana camara was said to be invasive in some countries because it will bring toxicity to livestock but is it really that invasive? Well for me it's not because in some areas in the Philippines it's purposely planted to help reduce the population of mosquitoes. I don't know if there's any scientific explanation for that but our family itself really believes that it can fight against mosquito spread. Maybe because of its not-so-pleasant smell. This kind of plant grows almost everywhere and it has a variety of colors which somehow made it attractive. At some point it made me realized something. Everything on Earth really has a purpose and Lantana camara have two things to choose. Will it choose to be invasive or noninvasive?
