You know what time snowdrops bloom, right? It is indicated even in their name - snow-drop, buca-neve, fior di neve, campanilla blanca de invierno, campanilla de invierno, campanilla de las nieves, perforanieves, etc. Do you understand my point? His name is associated with winter and snow. But not only that. This flower appears at the beginning of the year. It is one of the first flowers of the year at all, it breaks through the snow, literally speaking. And? Why am I telling you all this?
Because this year, as early as October, snowdrops were blooming in Bulgaria, along the coast. They didn't break through any snow, right, and it's not even autumn yet. If that's not weird, I don't know what is 🤔

Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you. |
