He was on a branch and must have just left the nest because he was too afraid to move. I came within a few inches of him with my face while mowing the goat pen
Then of course the goats wanted leaves off of his branch so I had to run them off. I stood guard and picked mulberries until he flew off higher and to the next tree where he was quickly joined by his mama.
Keep an eye out for these little ones since now is the time they are flying the nest.
