This photo was taken on Mt Aconcagua in Argentina. This is Camp Colera (nice name) @ 5870 meters above sea level / 19258 feet.
This was on day 2 of a 4 day storm which pinned us in our tents, 1 more day and we would have given up our summit attempt.
Here you can see sunset and an amazing break in the cloud to reveal this awesome view. I am not joking when I say it brought me to tears!!!!! 10 minutes later the storm was back in full force and we were back to going mentally crazy with cabin fever.
