First off I just want to say these aren't my pictures I found them on Google but I just had to share. So this lil guy is what's called a Velvet Worm. They've been around for about four or five hundred million years. They're super hard to find, which is probably why they've been around for so long. Though this guy may look cute be careful you dont get too close. To hunt (yes he's a hunter) he shoots out whats called viscous slime. Basically a sticky glue to peg its prey to the ground. It will then proceed to ingest its food using poisonous saliva. Just hope you dont bite into one next time you eat an apple.
