This photo represents summer to me. Especially on a warm and sunny day, there is more than a hint of sand and pine in the air. This part of the state has plenty of sand dunes and thick pine forests.
The photo below is the peaceful water that leads out to the bigger lake. The shoreline and the beaches feature very soft sand that swallows your feet when you enter the lake. There are several bars scattered along the lake, so maybe it gets a little rowdy in the summer, but that's part of the charm I guess.
All I know is there are few better places to be on the water when the weather is nice and the fish are biting.
