You are looking at what is left of an intermittent stream in East Kentucky. The land has been dozed for a home, and the stream filled in for a drive way. Now oil seeps out of the ground. I'm not sure why, but judging by the amount of garbage laying around the house my guess is these people dump their used motor oil on the ground. It seems to come out of the drive way like a spring. At this point the stream is nothing but a polluted ditch beside the road, bringing sickness to every living creature down stream.
This is one family, one tiny spot on the Earth. If they can have an impact this significant, imagine the condition the planet is actually in.
