Sunflower, with its Beauty and Its Benefits Can Be a Potent Business

image
Sunflower is known for its growth and movement that follows the sunlight. Hence the sunflower is called having heliotropic properties. Sunflower plants store a hormone called auksin to control its growth. But this auksin usually amounts more on the far side or not exposed to direct sunlight. This hormone that causes sunflower stems almost always grows in the direction of sunlight. But for sunflower plants that have full bloom no longer have the heliotropic properties. Yet sunflowers are always facing eastward.

With beauty that is not inferior to other flowers, sunflower seeds are rich in healthy nutrients for the body. These nutrients such as protein, vitamin E, mineral flats, and copper are able to support weight loss. At one ounce of sunflower seeds contain 22 micrograms of selenium that serves to run the metabolism, especially the function of the thyroid gland. But the content of selenium can also cause skin rashes, fatigue, and digestive problems.
