The valley Skamdalen, northern Norway.
The valley is called Skamdalen, the name is Skapmi in sami, and means shady or dark. This is a quite narrow valley with high mountains shading for the sun. It is a beautiful valley with a lake in the inner part. The river start from this lake and end in the fjord around 10 km further down.
Today it was low clouds and fog covering the mountains, I only got a few glimpse of them between the clouds. It was also a little rain in the air which give fresh colour and soft shadows. I liked the little mysterious mood and we had a great trip watching the river, waterfall and the lake. If you look closely you will be able to see a Norwegian "Hulder" :-). In other countries they are called nymph, siren or mermaid.
Best regards
