It is a beautiful Sunday here in Panama. Warm, sunny with a few clouds in the sky and a slight breeze. Not bad!
Isaiah 40:8
The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.
Soon this flower will wither away and die. It will fall to the ground and be forgotten. However, the Word of God will never fade away. That is a comforting thought for me!
Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
The Word of God not only will not fade away, it is alive and active! It works on our lives and judges our thoughts and attitudes. Wow! I hope we take the Word seriously and allow it to work in our lives.
