Children in Narayanganj 'killed': Shefali-lawsuit against alleged lover

A case has been filed against a woman and her alleged lover for allegedly killing and attempting to kill a child in Baroipara area of Araihazar upazila of Narayanganj.

On April 13, the father-in-law of the victim Shefali and her alleged lover Rashedul Islam Momen filed a murder case against father-in-law Bilal Hossain.

Shefali resident of the Islampur area of Keraniganj in the capital. After the incident, the police detained him from the house.

Police sources said that Shefali denied allegations of direct involvement with the murder in the initial interrogation. Rashidul Islam Momen, the other accused in the case, is absconding since the incident.

Inspector (investigation) of Araihazar police station (investigation) Shafiqul Islam said, "Shefali said in a preliminary interrogation of police that Momen had been paralyzed for a long time. There have been several times in the area of trial and arbitration. On Friday night, Momen entered SSheffield'shouse. There is the physical relationship with the sheaf on the floor of the house.

At one stage, Momen tried to kill Shefali and kill him. After she (Shefali) is unconscious, Momen escaped on the bed while sleeping on the bed of child and jihad.

Shafiqul further said, "Truth will come out when Shefali's confessional statement to map the istrate in court."

Meanwhile, the plaintiff of the case and the victim's brother Billal Hossain mentioned that the smoke of the house was found at the house of his wife Shefali, rest ident of Bahraini progeny son Anwar, on Thursday night. After opening the door, he went inside and found that his eldest grandson heart (9) and younger grandson Jihad (7) were burnt to death in the bed for the killing. The heart was burnt to the fire. Jihad was seized and burnt in the burn and was later admitted to the Atrihajar upazila health complex and later in the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Officer-in-Charge of Araihazar Police Station (OC) MA Haque said, "The grandfather of the deceased filed a murder case accusing two people. The victim's mother Shefali was shown arrested in the case. Another accused is campaigning for the arrest of Momen. '
