TREY CANARD RETIRES FROM PROFESSIONAL RACING

ed Bull KTM has announced the decision by factory rider Trey Canard to retire from professional motocross competition. The news comes at an unexpected time, as the race season is currently underway and Canard is in the middle of a contract with the team.

Canard joined the professional ranks in 2007 with Torco Fuels Factory Connection Honda (now GEICO Honda), bested Ryan Villopoto for the the 250 East Coast SX championship in a last-race battle in 2008 and then claimed the 250 National MX title over Christophe Pourcel in 2010. Canard capped off 2010 by helping Team USA take the overall victory at the Motocross of Nations.
