The Mysterious Pentagram of Kazakhstan

Most people know what a pentagram is and the relationship they have with the supposedly diabolical. We've seen them in movies, series and even drawn somewhere. However, one of the most striking manifestations of this symbol is possibly the pentagram of Kazakhstan. It is located in the north of the country and was discovered by satellites and then shown on Google Maps to the entire planet. Needless to say, the rumors and theories started to run like ink. It was even said that it was a new door of hell.

Before continuing with the pentagram of Kazakhstan, we must first know what is the origin of the pentagrams. They have been existing more than we believe.

As documented, the staves have been seen in ancient Egypt, and were used to represent the world of the dead. The ancient Sumerians thought that the symbol of the pentagram and its five points represented the five uninhabited parts of the world. The followers of the Greek mathematician Pythagoras also made use of the symbol by believing that it represented the foundations of everything we know. Some Hindus and Buddhists also thought the same thing. However, those who made the most use of the pentagrams were the druids and their pagan beliefs.

According to the druids, a pentagram represented a supreme being and the five forces of nature. The Hebrews also used the pentagrams and saw it as a symbol of truth and that it represented the five books of the Hebrew scriptures. Christians, on the other hand, saw this symbol as something negative, although before the Holy Inquisition it was not related to satanic themes. Now that we know what the pentagrams are, what exactly is the staff of Kazakhstan?

Where did the Kazakhstan pentagram come from?

As it has been said, there are several theories about the pentagram of Kazakhstan? To begin with, the symbol is gigantic with almost 400 meters in diameter. Some think it may be the remains of an old Russian military base. The reason is that stars are an important symbol in Russian culture. It was traditionally thought to represent the five fingers of a worker's hand. However, officially the five-point stars represented communism and socialism in five social groups, which were the military, agriculture, workers, youth and intelligence.

It was thought that the Kazakh pentagram was a huge radar set by the military of the former Soviet Union. The truth is that the five-pointed star in Kazakhstan consists of five bearings that make up the pentagram. Even having been discovered in 2013, there is still no definitive conclusion about the origin of the Kazakh pentagram. What can be said is that it is not something satanic or a door of hell. The official version is that it was a star-shaped construction that is so popular in Russia.

Even so, this has not stopped the supernatural theories. Many still think that something mysterious and sinister exists in the north of Kazakhstan.
