This morning I woke up faster than usual, it made me have to move quickly to continue the plan yesterday that I had planned myself.

Today I just continue my activities without friends-garden maybe friends are busy with their respective activities, after enjoying a cup of coffee and breakfast I immediately prepared some of my needs one of them is a digital camera, because the camera is the most important tool I need today.

The weather is very bright but slightly foggy at the foot of the mountain, this is the right time to do a small expedition in the rice field area in the village Seunong approximately 16KM distance from the city.

My goal is just to take some interesting moments during the rice season in the village, an atmosphere that I have been longing to miss even though things are different now.

Four months of waiting time by farmers to welcome the harvest season arrive, after taking care of and keeping the seeds of rice that they have planted until the rice comes to bear fruit, smiles seen on their faces to pick up the many results without any disruption of pests this season effort from the results they work.

I do not want this atmosphere to be missed, though the natural or traditional way I have found very little there, they cut rice using cutting machines that come from the cities through the agents and which are distributed to the village. The purpose of these agents is simply to speed up the process of harvesting so that the land can be harvested again for the next planting season.

Cutting rice with a machine is something new right now in my place, I can say the last three years farmers use machines to harvest their rice.

In my mind I would like to see a natural and traditional way of harvesting rice, because I really miss it. Because it makes me imagine when my childhood when my uncle took me to the rice fields and put me in a hut with palm leaves.

I watched from a distance the women were marching neatly with green cloth and yellow cloth on their heads, taking the bundles of rice that had been tied to a pile of cubes in the middle of the rice fields before they were threshing the seeds, while the men wore broad caps to hold the heat of the sun and while banishing the sparrows using plastic that is tied up in small woods like flags at the festivals celebration of independence day, occasionally I see them bending and standing cutting the rice using a sickle, this is the thing that happened then.

The changing times make this change slowly but surely, I do not see the haystack or the tents as it used to be shelter to wash away the remains of the seeds on which is left on the straw, only a few owners who stand in the corner of the rice field menuggu their harvested rice using the machine.

Rice that has been harvested in pile into the sack in the matures, while waiting for people who offer services to transport their rice to be brought back to their homes respectively.

This heart is very happy to watch the harvest season and the faces of farmers who used to look tired finally today they can smile satisfied.
