Hello, its me again my fellow Steemians, saying: Don't Just Gaze At It, Seize It, Then Steem It!

These are my entries today for @timsaid MyPictureDay Round #6. Our caving adventure at The Rapids located in Maddela Quirino province.

This photo story will be a bit long so just sit back and relax. Let me start by our photo after we arrive at the gate of the cave. No other way to get to the gate but using a boat.

The opening was a bit tight, no person can stand straight. We have to bow and crawl to pass the narrow entrance. There's cold water along the way too. My cousin, Saul is an amputee so it was him that had some difficulty in this caving escape.

If you are afraid of tight space then I don't recommend going to this cave.

Guess what, we even brought kids. My cousin Paul had to take his 3 kids because it was Saturday and they need let go of their school stuff. The youngest, 3 years old not yet in school, is crawling as we can see in the picture.

The pathway is getting tighter.

But after all that adrenalin rushing dramatic entrance, here we can see that inside the cave, there's a falls with ice cold water gushing from its opening in the stones.

My relatives were having fun. Some were afraid earlier but that feeling was clouded with cheers.

After spending sometime looking at the waterfalls and its surrounding, we decided to move out again.

There's even a gap that could lead to the bottom of how deep, so we need to be extra careful.

20170715113344.jpg

Then we were amazed by the rock formations inside the cave. These formations could have been centuries old. Bats are also seen above and we can hear their noise. The smell of bats excrement smells like bad aroma.

They pose first before we go out of the cave.

Then we arrive at the exit way, we thought it would be easier than the entrance but we were wrong. We need to climb down another smaller opening and we need to hold on to a blue rope that has atleast an inch in diameter tied to the stone formations.

So this is it. The final chapter, there's no way around but this. We were able to pull it off, even if we have kids with us. One of the guide has to climb up the rocks to assist so each one can go out of the cave.
