Vengo a presentarme en este foro al que llegué desde Rising Star.
Me llamo Santiago y soy del norte de España. Tengo 34 años y soy arquitecto.
Por la edad que tengo empecé en internet en IRC y en foros de conversación, muy diferente a las redes sociales actuales que hicieron que aquellos foros clásicos fueran bastante olvidados. Ojalá la blockchain les de una nueva vida. Este tiene muy buena pinta así que espero disfrutar por aquí.

I come to introduce myself in this forum where I arrived from Rising Star.
My name is Santiago and I am from the north of Spain. I am 34 years old and I am an architect.
For the age I am I started on the internet in IRC and conversation forums, very different from the current social networks that made those classic forums were quite forgotten. Hopefully the blockchain will give them a new life. This one looks very good so I hope to enjoy it here.
Soy una persona con aficiones bastante dispares. Me gusta mucho el apasionante mundo crypto, pero como mi trabajo también me obliga a estar delante del ordenador mucho tiempo, suelo ir al campo a disfrutar cuando puedo alejado de las pantallas.
I am a person with quite different hobbies. I really like the exciting crypto world, but as my job also forces me to be in front of the computer a lot of time, I usually go to the countryside to enjoy when I can away from the screens.
En el campo lo que suelo hacer, además de pasear y dedicarme a observar la naturaleza por el puro placer de hacerlo, es dedicarme a detectar metales. Es una afición fantástica y tras una tarde de detección vuelvo a casa cansado de hacer hoyos en el suelo y casi siempre con algún pequeño tesoro. Pequeños tesoros que no suelen tener valor económico pero que a mí me hacen feliz. Aunque parezca mentira te encuentras de todo, he llegado a encontrar enterrado un Bong de los de fumar marihuana xD.
In the countryside what I usually do, besides walking and observing nature for the pure pleasure of doing it, is to go metal detecting. It is a fantastic hobby and after an afternoon of detecting I return home tired of digging holes in the ground and almost always with some small treasure. Small treasures that usually have no economic value but that make me happy. Believe it or not you find everything, I have even found buried a Bong for smoking marijuana xD
Me gusta mucho la ciencia ficción. Películas, comics, libros... suelo ir por ferias del libro antiguo buscando libros de relatos cortos, son rápidos de leer y siempre te dejan un rato pensando. Creo que mi interés por la ciencia ficción es responsable de que este mundo crypto me haya llamado tanto la atención.
I like science fiction a lot. Movies, comics, books... I usually go around old book fairs looking for short story books, they are quick to read and always leave you thinking for a while. I think my interest in science fiction is responsible for why this crypto world has caught my attention so much.
Mi autor favorito de comics es Moebius, el autor francés también autor del Teniente Blueberry, que firmaba como Giraud. Los dibujos son impresionantes y las historias a veces llegan a rozar el absurdo y perder la lógica pero eso me encanta.
My favorite comic author is Moebius, the French author also author of Lieutenant Blueberry, who signed as Giraud. The drawings are impressive and the stories sometimes verge on the absurd and lose logic but I love that.
Hace poco empecé a ir a clases de cerámica. Me viene bien, me relaja mucho y además se me da bastante bien así que estoy encantado. Ya he hecho un par de vasos y un par de cuencos. Pienso hacerme una vajilla entera xD
I recently started going to ceramics classes. It's good for me, it relaxes me a lot and I'm pretty good at it so I'm delighted. I've already made a couple of glasses and a couple of bowls. I'm thinking of making a whole set of dishes xD
Aunque me presento ahora este no es mi primer post, empecé escribiendo un pequeño post sobre la Serie Oz y mis recuerdos de cómo me impresionó cuando la vi por primera vez hace ya unos cuantos años.
Although I'm introducing myself now this is not my first post, I started by writing a short post about the Oz series and my memories of how it impressed me when I first saw it a few years ago now.
