Magic in Arabic means a term for something that causes vague or hidden. Named magic because it takes place through a vague path and can not be reached by the five senses of man.
As in term is a term about amulets, spells, and the like that can affect the heart and body. Among others are making sick, killing, and separating between husband and wife. However, the effect of the magic remains dependent on the permission of Allah Ta'ala.
Magic is a satanic deed. The majority of magic will have no effect except by shirk to Allah Ta'ala and taqarrub (get closer) to demons with something they want and exalt them by associating with Allah Ta'ala.
