Samy Deluxe inspired me with his song "Wake me up." The year of release was in 2001, I consciously found the song later in my teenage years.
Thanks to the great #musicwaybackchallenge, I came across this song again. He also ran up and down, made me then thoughtful about the world.
In 2016, Xavier Naidoo started on the well-known song as part of the TV show "Sing my song." This version appeals more to me than Samy these days, so I've inserted both videos for you, but feel better should look at the Xavier Naidoo version, because he simply knows how to embody songs and give them the right expression.
During that time I got an absolute goosebumps and still like to watch it today. However, this video is not on Youtube and co. The rights are VOX. So much for the topic.

Samy Deluxe begeisterte mich mit seinem Song ,,Weck mich auf". Das Erscheinungsjahr war 2001, bewusst auf den Song gestoßen bin ich später, in meiner Zeit als Teenager.
Dank der tollen #musicwaybackchallenge, bin ich wieder auf diesen Song gestoßen. Der lief ebenfalls rauf und runter, ließ mich damals nachdenklich werden über die Welt.
Im Jahr 2016 machte sich Xavier Naidoo dann im Rahmen der TV Show ,,Sing meinen Song" an den altbekannten Song. Diese Version spricht mich heutzutage mehr an als die von Samy. Ich habe euch beide Videos eingefügt, finde aber, dass man sich besser die Xavier Naidoo Version anschauen sollte. Warum? Weil er es einfach versteht Songs zu verkörpern und den richtigen Ausdruck zu verleihen.
Ich bekam damals während der Ausstrahlung eine absolute Gänsehaut und schaue es mir heute noch gerne an. Allerdings ist dieses Video auf Youtube und co nicht vertreten. Die Rechte hat VOX. So viel dann zum Thema.

Mit jeder Zeile bestätigt Samy Deluxe in seinem Text meine Ansichtsweise. Obwohl der Song aus dem Jahre 2001 ist, ist er heute viel aktueller als viele denken.
Ich möchte ihn gar nicht weiter kommentieren, denn ich glaube der Song spricht für sich. Wir haben zu viele Brennpunkte, die in dem Song thematisiert werden, als das ich auch nur einen einzelnen rauspicken möchte.
