Let's take a look at some Russian Beatles vinyl
This is the LP, A Taste Of Honey and it was one of only two official Parlophone releases in the USSR, the second being A Hard Days Night. Both were issued on the state-owned Melodiya label.
I was a big record collector in the 80s & 90s and I remember hearing about this disc in the late 80s when it came out and word started to spread. I don't remember how much it was selling for when it first came out but I remember it was above my budget. I just added it to the list of Beatles records that were too expensive, and there were many.
The track list is basically the Help album, with a couple changes. Though the cover photos are the pictures from the White Album, which came out 3 years after Help xD
I was able to pick this copy up in the 1990s at some point and I love everything about it. Even the jacket and the inner sleeve feel different than normal, and all the Russian text. It's a cool record.
