Canadian Hard Rock Band MAX WEBSTER, was formed in 1973 out of Toronto, Ontario Canada. Extremely successful in Canada, the band struggled to find success elsewhere. The song "Paradise Skies" was a minor UK hit reaching No.43 on the singles chart.
The band released 7 albums, MAX WEBSTER (1976 - Gold), HIGH CLASS IN BORROWED SHOES (1977 - Gold), MUTINY UP MY SLEEVE (1978 - Gold), A MILLION VACATIONS (1977 - Platinum), LIVE MAGNETIC AIR (1979 - Gold), UNIVERSAL JUVENILES (1980 - Gold - Features Geddy Lee and RUSH), DIAMONDS DIAMONDS (1981 - Gold).
Kim Mitchell continued with a solo career after deciding to dissolve the group in April of 1981 which saw him become very popular in Canada and beyond.
