Vinyl Feature: Atlas Sound -- Parallax

After a long delay, I'm back with a new vinyl feature. Next up in my collection is "Parallax," the latest release from Atlas Sound aka Bradford Cox of Deerhunter. This album is much more accessible than "Logos," the previous record I featured, as it takes sounds and cues from various genres, while stile presenting a cohesive collection of songs. While I much prefer Cox's work in Deerhunter, this is a great entry point to his solo work. Who knows, there might even be a download code at the end of this post.

The album art, despite coming out in 2011, looks like it may have come out a few decades earlier, as Cox embraced a "singer-songwriter" vibe for the imagery.

The inner sleeve, once again featuring a very 50's-esque Cox.

Standard black vinyl for this one, so no pictures of the record itself. But here's a download code! If you use it, give it a listen and let me know what you think.
