In this blog, i want to talk about my favourite metal band Avenged Sevenfold. Their songs are absolute masterpieces. Whenever i hear someone playing their song i sit silently and listen to that song. The band was formed in 1999, they are Huntington Beach, California. They released their debut album Sounding the seventh trumpet when they were still in high school. The most tragic moment was when their childhood friend and drummer Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan passed away in 2009, that was a heart breaking moment for the band and the fans. But with the help of a friend they continued and released their fifth album Nightmare as a tribute to "The Rev" on 2010.
In 2011, drummer Arin llejay joined the band for tours and in 2013 they released their sixth studio album Hail To The King. Afterwards, llejay left the band and was replaced by former Bad Religion drummer Brooks Wackerman. The band then released their seventh album as a surprise titled The Stage on October 28, 2016. The Stage was a little different from their previous albums moving towards the progressive metal type.
