Audio cassette first appeared in 1963, and mass production started a year later in Hanover, Germany.
During the nineties, the popularity of the audio cassette fell sharply, primarily thanks to the CD that took over the market at that time.
The tape still has a special place in the hearts of older generations who recall the time when they recorded radio songs on tape, and made their own compilations .
I still have a few survivors and can only listen to them on my father's car, auto radio still have cassette player :)
