Greetings appreciated steemians and general community, weeks ago I had the pleasure of providing my knowledge related to the System of Youth and Children's Orchestras of Venezuela, and the dream achieved by an exemplary Master of music as it was José Antonio Abreu, a tireless dreamer that left us a great humanistic teaching.
José Antonio Abreu, founder of the National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras of Venezuela, was able to undertake a task that has exceeded all expectations and which has now been projected throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
He also studied Orchestral Direction, a fact that led him to direct the greatest orchestras in the country and for the year 1975 he decided to found the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra.
Other of his great recognitions stand out the Inter-American Prize of the Culture Gabriela Mistral, (1995). The Don Juan de Borbón de la Música award in the city of Segovia, Spain; among other honorable awards.
The composer and economist José Antonio Abreu formed directors and interpreters of the highest level, based on a bold confidence in the educational value of music for the dignity of the human being.
