The Dodos are a band I have been following since the second album "Visitor" and just completely fell in love with the rythmic trible feel of the percussion played by Logan Kroeber with irratic fast and extremly intiguing acousic playing of Meric Long.
These two guys together, make music that really speaks to me and one of the few bands I have always waited for their next album and have to have it on the release date.
The first song that really just blew me away was "Red and Purple"

Their early sound was very acousticly powered and through their 6 studio albums have gradually let the more electric and loud seep in.
Logan being fluid in West African Ewe drumming and intricate Blues fingerpicking and Maric with his mostly metal background and being a consistet singer song writer .... they were an unlikely duo that we are so lucky found eachother. http://www.dodosmusic.net.
