What do you imagine when hearing about the Borneo island ? Most of you must imagine the dense forest, and the culture of the local tribes. Who would have thought in Borneo there is a metal band that often rocked the metal scene in Borneo. Even in Indonesia Kapital is the top metal band.
Kapital is a metal band from Tenggarong, East Borneo. Kapital was originally founded in 2004, with personnel formations Akbar Haka (vocals), Beng (Bass), David Haka (guitar), Ivan (Drum), and Dani (guitar). After several formation change from 2004 till now, this is the Kapital line up in 2018, Akbar Haka (vocals), Indra (drums), Ninoy (bass), Ary (guitar), and Dani (guitar).
"Metalmorphosis" was the band's first album. Being soldout in a metal scene in East Borneo, selling almost 1000 copies in less than a week, "SISTEM MUNAFIK" was the first single from this album to burn and make metalheads in every show for sing along together, and in early 2011 Kapital made a second album "REINKARNASI" within two weeks, the album was able to sell more than 1,700 COPY CDs in East Borneo. From 2004 until now, Kapital has released 5 albums and 1 EP.

Kapital gait was turned out to have been ogled by observers and music lovers in other countries. The proof is in last April, Kapital has been invited to rocked Heartown Rockfest 2018 in Taichung City, Taiwan. And Kapital is the only Indonesian band to perform at Heartown Rockfest 2018.
As Borneo people i'm so proud to them. Through metal music, they bring the name of Borneo and Indonesia in the international music scene. And there's the video of Kapital song and show:
