I've seen them live a couple of times, first in Warsaw and years later in Barcelona. I was happy surprised by Ian's great performance. Honoring Jim Morrison but not trying to copy him. In my opinion, Ian Astbury was the best choice to "supply" Jim Morrison as he sings respecting Jim. I have also seen The Cult three times, and Ian in The Cult likes to be the protagonist but in The Doors of The 21st Century he didn't want to eclipse Robbie & Ray.
