Linkin Park is an American band from Los Angeles, California, United States rock. Formed in 1996, the Group was initially composed by Mike Shinoda, Dave Farrell, Joe Hahn, Brad Delson, Rob Bourdon and Mark Wakefield, the latter as lead vocals. The band started in the same year his first musical works independently and after this they recorded their first material called Xero; However did not have great success in the search for a record label since none showed interest in their work, resulting in the resignation of Mark Wakefield. The first years of the band go back to a small Studio of vocalist Mike Shinoda where he, along with a friend and schoolmate Agoura High School, Brad Delson recorded the first material from the band in 1995. The two were in the same school, where they met Rob Bourdon, current drummer for the band. Later, when they took up the theme of the band more seriously, Shinoda contacted Joe Hahn while studying at the Art Center College in Pasadena.
