It was my birthday over the weekend. I was super lucky to have my friends and family to celebrate with (thank you to my sister who flew down from Brisbane). It was super fun and got a little out of control (who devours drinks that much tequila?).

But despite my hangover, I still got up the next day and made my way down to 170 Russell (a music venue/ bar in Melbourne). Playing there that evening was one of my favourite bands from my childhood, Papa Roach! To be honest, I hadn't heard anything from them in years, but my friend was getting me in for free (Thanks Alicia!), so I thought, "Why not?".

Turns out they're still amazing.

Jacoby Shaddix is extremely entertaining and surprisingly funny! The whole band was enjoying themselves and interacting with the crowd, it was so much fun. The show finished and they hadn't played "Last Resort", one of their most famous songs. Though disappointing, I was still satisfied with the performance. The whole crowd was cheering for an encore. Papa Roach came back onto the stage and started playing again, "This is it!", I thought.

It wasn't. lol

But it turned out they would end up playing five more songs! And finally:

I am currently listening to every album from their earliest to their latest. 10/10 would recommend!
