I still can't believe it, but a new movie is set to come out in theaters at the end of this month. An actual blockbuster, worthy of your money, time and the big screen movie. With all due respect to all of the movies that dared to come out since the pandemic hit, this is the first one that is just cinema worthy. Not that there are any cinema's to watch it on. There is still a pandemic going on. The movie will probably not come out in the U.S. at all, just in the rest of the world. In the few countries that have cinemas open.
Christopher Nolan who wrote and directed the movie wants to save the movie industry, let's see if he can. The rumor is that this movie needs to make 800 million dollars simply to break even. Is it even possible? We shall see. This movie will need to have some serious long legs. Old fashion, years in theaters long legs. We will see if this gamble will pay-off.
Also, the rumors around this movie sure help. I don't want to spoiler anything in case that they are true. But, the conversation around this movie is interesting. Could be more interesting than the movie itself. For now we can get excited with these cool posters.
