This movie is set in Paris, France and the story is based on John Woo's 1989 remake.

The movie tells us a story about an assassin named Zee, played by Nathalie Emmanuel, who is given a simple assignment to kill everyone in a Paris nightclub.
When Zee visits that nightclub, she does exactly that; however, she does not kill a girl who is singing at that place. This sets events into motion, which drives the whole story because Zee's boss Finn, played by Sam Worthington, wants her dead, so Zee decides to do the opposite and, in fact, protect that girl.
What happened is that we see flashbacks of an Arab prince plane being robbed by some crooks dressed as policemen, and the people that were killed in that room were those responsible for the theft. The robbery was worth $350 million worth of heroin.
We see an honest cop in the form of Sey played by Lupin's **Omer Sy **who is my favorite character in the movie, leading his own investigation on this case, but he is told by the police commissioner to back off from the case. We see great chemistry between the two lead characters in the form of Zee and Sey.

The action scenes in the movie are breathtaking, with practical effects thrown into the mix. We also we see Zee perform some stunts in the form of diving, just like Max Payne somehow, which is really entertaining to watch. The story is simple yet very effective. I really enjoyed this movie, but the only thing that was bad about it was that it did lack a bit of action in the middle part. Still, I would recommend it and give it an 8 out of 10.
