The Funniest 3 Comedies That Aren't Comedies

House of Gucci' (2021)

Ridley Scott's House of Gucci is a campy crime thriller that dramatizes several scandals that have affected the Gucci family recently. It has the potential to become a cult classic. The subject of Patrizia Reggiani's conspiracy to have her husband, Maurizio Gucci, killed is one that receives a lot of attention.

House of Gucci occasionally becomes incredibly ridiculous despite its serious premise. The actors' constant chewing of scenery contributes significantly to the humour in this film. The heavy Italian accents from its American performers must be heard to be believed, notably Jared Leto, whose voice in the movie has been compared to Super Mario. Lady Gaga's performance is so out of control that it can occasionally be extremely humorous.

Godzilla vs. Megalon' (1973)

The first entry in the Godzilla series was a somber 1954 movie, where the eponymous monster's rampage through destruction was meant to evoke the actual carnage caused by the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki at the end of World War II. As the series progressed, the movies got a little lighter, and eventually each one was about Godzilla confronting a brand-new adversary and protecting Japan instead of destroying it.

Godzilla vs. Megalon, released in 1973, most likely marked the peak of Godzilla's first era's absurdity. It unites Godzilla with a shape-shifting robot named Jet Jaguar and has a notably more amateurish appearance than many of the movies that came before it. However, it's wonderful for camp enthusiasts (or those who prefer their gigantic monster movies to be family-friendly).

Pulp Fiction (1994)

Few of Quentin Tarantino's movies might be classified as genuine comedies, but he loves to add dark comedy to them. His career is infamously brutal and over-the-top when it comes to on-screen slaughter, and a lot of the time the comedy comes from severe violence.

Even though it's often a crime-thriller with lengthy sections where humour isn't attempted, Pulp Fiction may feature the most black humor of all his movies. Nevertheless, because of the film's episodic structure, some of the scenes have a lot of humor, particularly a long detour where hitmen Jules (Samuel L. Jackson) and Vincent (John Travolta) accidentally shoot someone in their car and then go on an elaborate adventure to clean the car and themselves before anyone notices.
