2D/1N SUMMIT OF MOUNT KINABALU

Mt. Kinabalu standing majestically at 4095m is the focal point of Kinabalu Park and the highest mountain in South East Asia. Acclaimed to be one of the easiest mountains to trek in the world, one could actually reach the summit in one day. The annual Mount Kinabalu International Climbathon holds the fastest record of 2hrs 21min 33sec.

Day 01 Kinabalu Park / Mt Kinabalu (B/L/D)
Overland drive to Kinabalu Park HQ through scenic countryside and mountain ranges. Upon arrival, register, meet mountain guide and transfer to Timpohon Gate and begin your 4-6 hours trekking Panar Laban station 3,332m. Spend the night at Laban Rata resthouse (basic amenities only: dormitory style, hot water, heater and blankets).

Day 02 Mt Kinabalu / Kinabalu Park / Kota Kinabalu (B/L)
Begin your final ascend to the summit at 3am and savour the magnificent views at Low’s Peak and witness the majestic sunrise (if weather permits). Then descend to park HQ to receive achievement certificate before heading back to Kota Kinabalu after lunch. @originalwork
