Evgeny Bobryshev returns to ride home MXGP of Orlyonok, Russia.

Finaly some good news to come out from the HRC Honda paddock! Bobryshev is fit and riding his home country MXGP round in Orlyonok, Russia.

After sitting out of the French GP due to a broken collarbone he received after that nasty crash in Teutschenthal, Germany for the 8th round he is back and he must be stoked to be riding in Russia! He had to go under the knife and get his collar bone plated before beginning an intense treatment of training and physio to get him back racing fit. The home crowds will be shouting the track down he made it!

Sure Russia might be his home GP but the track has not been part of the GP circuit for 7 years! “Orlyonok is a special track with a very natural feel to it. Being 1.85km long its an awesome place. Narrowing to just 10m at its narrowest and elevation changes of 40m, wow, going to be amazing racing!

"I am really pleased to be able to come back this weekend to ride at my home GP in Russia. It has only been three weeks since my accident but I am feeling OK. I haven't had much time on the bike as I have been letting the collarbone heal, so although I am coming back this weekend, I know I may not be 100% back at my usual pace. I want to make up points for the championship and I am excited to see the Russian fans. I look forward to it!"

"We are pleased to have Bobby back with us this weekend as we head to his home GP in Russia. He has been keeping up the training etc since his accident so we expect a tentative return for him this weekend. His focus will now be improving his overall position in the world championship. As he has only missed one round as a result of this injury, we are in a good position to push for good results for the rest of the season."
