Hi guys, I am very much excited to write this post and share the values with you. But before I begin, I want to thank all of you for the love and support you show on my blogs. I am really happy to share this amazing motivational and helpful content with you.
Now this session is all about:HOW TO HANDLE A BAD DAY
I am gonna tell you about how to take a bad day and restructure it so that it will become something good, positive and something valuable.
To make this post more interesting and rememberable I will share with you
4 P's to convert a bad day into a good one
Lets straight away start with the first one
1. PERSPECTIVE
Perspective is a word that seems very simple but its very powerful.
Perspective simply reminds us to count our blessing. It reminds us that Things could be a lot worse, Perspective on a bad day is simply understanding that we live in a world that half the world's population lives on less than $3 a day.
Perspective on a bad day is to yourself the quote that:
"I curse the fact that I had no shoes until I saw the man who had no feet"
So my friends perspective can be very helpful.
2. PIVOT
When you are having a bad day maybe you had a fight with somebody, maybe you didn't get a promotion, maybe you weren't able to pitch your idea to the investors, maybe your sale went down or you missed a train.
On a bad day, Ask yourself this question Whats the opportunity here?
There is great power in this question. It directs your brain to search for something good.
So every time PIVOT around this question that "What's the opportunity here?"
Maybe you will find that you need to communicate better, you may find an opportunity to grow yourself on the mental or physical level. You may find the power to make a decision that you weren't able to take.
3. PACING
This P is related to moving. When you start doing some physical exercise, your body releases dopamine and serotonin which are pleasure and inspiration neurotransmitters and also cuts down your cortisol which is the fear hormone.
So simply by taking a Bicycle ride, Swimming, A long WALK or even doing JUMPING JACKS or even doing YOGA. Basically pacing your body will help you to feel a lot better, which brings me to our 4th P.
4. PAGES
For 100s of years people who have gone through difficulties, Opened a JOURNAL, turned to a fresh page and poured their pain, confusion, frustration on that page. This method is very powerful because when you open up to a page, you start letting go of your bad feelings and make way for something good and positive in your mind. Gradually, It creates a fresh place for the new ideas and positive feelings to take place in your mind.
I hope you liked this post and it will be helpful for you on your bad days. Thanks for reading and supporting. I promise you to bring more valuable, interesting and motivational contents with great love.
Regards
