LIFE IS A GIFT...WORTH READING

Our life is a gift which we didn't even ask for. The chances of us stepping into this life can be so low that in the moment were born everybody calls us a MIRACLE Even so we have the tendency to spend our lives like there's nothing miraculous about our life. Each morning when we open our eyes, the first thing we want to do is check out the number of likes our last Instagram photo got or if X emailed back or not.

Why not instead look out the window and say, “Thank you for this new and amazing day!" We've been gifted with.

So we start each day with Anxiety and fear about what could happen because we gave Facebook Instagram and other social platforms the permission to tell us what to become What to wear and what to do. So we completely forget about ourselves. And we seem to live our days according to what others dictate through their online comments and feedbacks But how about dictating our own roles to live by? We are constantly encouraged to expose our lives in the smallest detail So that we can get that approval we seem to need in order to move forward. We're so caught up in this that when we get what we think we need like a positive comment or emoticon. We simply fool ourselves into thinking that we've made it But we didn't... we've just let others comment on our worth, but what about our own approval of ourselves?

We've become so comfortable with our online friends that we simply forget about the real ones because it's easier to speak our mind when no one's looking us in the eyes. We see the screen of our phone or laptop as a shield protecting us against the world's opinions. And so it's easier to block or unfollow anyone who disturbs us from thinking that we're amazing. At least this is what people said about our photo on Facebook, right? Even when we feel down we still post great photos with us in vacations having the best time just to let the world know that we're doing great and so we get a good feeling because we've been approved. We've been liked.

Things take another sudden turn when we see that everybody else is doing this and we become frustrated and depressed as we think that others are having much more fun than we are And that others look much better than we do in their over edited photos. We're living in this ill society, getting high once we get our daily dose of this so-called online socializing. Look at all these kids being raised while staring at their phone or tablet screens all day long. Not even paying attention to anything that this world has to show them. Their heads are so caught up in this virtual world that it's no wonder. They grow up becoming introverted and frustrated adults. But hasn't the society had enough of depressed and sad adults already. We let ourselves guided by all the trends social networking brings forward and we just play a role hoping to get the Oscar trophy for being the most liked and followed online user.

We're never satisfied with what we have because we're constantly fed with photos and videos of living the perfect life, but who knows what is actually happening behind the curtains? Who can tell for sure that that so-called perfect life is also for us? It's okay to dream about it. It's okay to have a look, but just that We need dreams we need goals But until reaching them, how about enjoying the journey and the whole process?

How about being grateful for what we already have?
