I am a big movie fan and one of my favorite movies is Any Given Sunday. It's a football movie with Al Pacino, Denis Quad, Cameron Diaz, James Wood, Jamie Foxx and LL Cool J. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend you do.

3 months ago I did a post about the Best Monologues in Movie History with some of my favorite movie "speeches" (aka monologue).

One particular one stands out, one I used to listen to every morning when I woke up or when I needed motivation. The speech still gives me goose bumps to this day.

I highly recommend you watch it, it is four and a half minutes and will completely fire you up.

If you think about it, a lot of it applies to Steemit as well. Being successful on Steemit is not easy, it takes a lot of work and more importantly persistence. Building an audience is difficult, time consuming, and slow. There will always be people who have it easy, but for most of us it is relentless hard work.

What will you do?

Set yourself a goal, like post every day something that offers value to the community and find at least one user with similar interests and engage them in their posts. Social media is as much about networking as it is about content creation.
