Yes, my friend you heard me clearly "Do Not Live Your Life To Please Me", sorry if what I just said is a little harsh but truth me, that's the truth.
So many people live their lives just like magicians, trying to please the people and letting them see what they want to see. So many people are just so fake, they do things just to please and satisfy people. When will you stop doing things to please people, when will stop doing things to get the attention of others. If you are doing things to get the attention of others, then you are just fake, as fake as a plagiarised writing.
Be yourself, love yourself. Do things because you love them, not because others are doing it or because you want to please someone.
If all you do is to please people when you are poor, you will have to keep pleasing people when you get rich. Take it or leave it, people will call you names. they will want you to keep pleasing them when you make some penny in your wallet and if you do, they will not let you be, you will become their new ATM. Let me tell you something, you are not meant to give some people who do not prioritise their plans and could not delay gratification. You are using a very small phone and you are living below your earnings and a friend who bought a phone that is very expensive comes to you to give him money so he could pay his bills but because you do not want to offend him, you decided to give him. Ohhhh, he will come back to ask you to help him pay the other bills. If you do not give him, he will get someone else to give him. I am not asking you to be selfish, but you need to be radical. You need to take some decisions not to please others rather do things that you are happy doing.
Some people will keep trying their best to please others and by the time they look back, they will realise they added nothing significant to life. They will realise that they have achieved nothing.
For goodness sake, you have a billion dollar idea in your mind. You cannot create a shift in this universe if you continue to live your life just to please others.
