NOTES
Actually, the moringa stems in the first few seconds of the video were not planted by me but re-located by some Bangla workers who just hammered them into the ground - that’s why they didn’t survive. All the ones planted in the trench are doing well. Instead of digging individual holes, the client found it easier to just hire a JCB and use it to dig the trench. The trench was filled with organic matter, some topsoil as well as the lateritic soil dug out of the trench.
Moringa oleifera tolerates poor soil; it fact, it has a way to utilising the iron from the red lateritic soil - that’s why it has such high iron content, which helps prevent anaemia and hypoxia by increasing the oxygen-carrying capacity of your blood by increasing the production of haemoglobin.
